Winter

There are ski schools located in both Bruck and Fusch.

In Fusch village there is a ski slope suitable for children or beginners, on this slope there are two lifts, one small practice lift going up to 80m and for the more proficient learner one reaching 280m.

In the winter there is a free ski bus service which takes you

to the ‘Areitbahn’ cable-car. And from there onwards to the

ski lifts in Zell am See and Kaprun. There is ample parking

(even in high season), both at the Areitbahn cable car giving you access to the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See (10 min drive), or

the Maiskogel/ Kitzsteinhorn, in Kaprun (15 minutes' drive), where snow is guaranteed from November through to

the end of May due to the Glacier.

The ‘Skicircus’ region of Saalbach, Hinterglemm & Leogang is also in close proximity. Combined these three areas offer over 90 lifts and more than 330km of pistes.

After a tiring day on the slopes it goes without saying there is always plenty of Aprés Ski going on.

Cross-country skiing, Tobogganing,  Curling, Snow Tubing, Horse-drawn Sleigh rides and both indoor and outdoor ice skating are also very close by.

If you fancy trying your hand at something new there is an outdoor ice go-kart racing track in Leogang.  Snowmobil-city in Viehhofen just 25mins away gives you the opportunity to drive a skidoo or even a piste-basher.

If you fancy a break from the slopes then

Innsbruck and Salzburg are easily accessible by train

from the local Station “Bruck-Fusch“.

The newly opened Tauernspa in Kaprun (15 mins drive),

with it‘s warm pools, sauna village, and treatment centre

offer perfect relaxation after a hard day on the slopes.

There are many restaurants to choose from locally.

But if your after something more lively, then Zell am See

has plenty of restaurants, bars & clubs to keep you

going until the early hours.
